Aburi Ceramics by Jordan Gower are small batch ceramics that reference the rich history of wheel-thrown studio pottery. The name Aburi is borrowed from the Japanese term flame seared - ubiquitously seen across Australian sushi menus - and references both the context in which the ceramics are made and the location in which they’re intended.
